Koehler Electric has been awarded the electrical contract for original construction of every HyVee Food Store in the Quad City area and surrounding communities. One of the newest HyVee Food Stores, located at Northgate Shopping Center in Davenport, Iowa, represented our 9th contract with HyVee.

We Know Supermarkets Have Special Needs

We understand the special needs of a supermarket and have the expertise for:

  • Refrigerated case wiring and controls
  • Generators and associated systems
  • NCR systems and their method of wiring
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Hood alarm systems
  • Equipment shutdown systems

Everything in this 68,000 square foot building was demolished, except the steel structure and roof deck, before construction could begin. Over 15,000 feet of underground conduit was installed from the switchgear to various pieces of equipment throughout the building. More than 1,000 light fixtures were installed.
